Qalansiya
Qalansiya (Arabic: قلنسية), also spent as Qalansiyah or Qulensya, is a resort town in the Socotra Special Administrative Region of Yemen. Located on the northwest coast of Socotra, it is connected to the historic Gulf of Aden, and boasts a large number of beaches, wilderness areas and other scenic spots. It is the second-most populated settlement in Socotra, with only the capital Hadibu having more residents. Like the rest of Socotra, Qalansiya is administered by a private corporation, Scimitar Holdings.
"With its rugged mountain terrain coupled with unspoiled white sand beaches, Qalansiya is a paradise for the wealthy elite to hide away from the world. Besides its stunning natural beauty, the area also offers every modern indulgence money can buy - there are few places that can compare."
