Diane Maria Cavanis (born 28 April 2003) is an American politician and attorney who has been serving as the 51st Governor of Florida since 5 January 2043. She was previously a member of the United States House of Representatives from 2 January 2037 to 4 January 2043, representing Florida's 19th congressional district.
A Republican with a reputation for sharp political instincts and transactional deal-making, Cavanis rose to national prominence in the late 2030s as a visible advocate of legalized polygamy and family-law reform, before consolidating power at the state level in the 2040s. Her husband, Asif Ansar, is a billionaire industrialist who founded Harappan Group.
