White Silk (Arabic: الحرير الأبيض, Al-Harir Al-Abyad) is a private gentlemen's club located in the Qalansiya district of the Socotra Special Administrative Region in Yemen. It is owned by Altar Group, and is designated as a five-star property. With a floor area of over 280,000 square feet on 8.2 acres of private grounds overlooking the scenic Detwar Lagoon, the club is one of the most luxurious in the world, and is a preferred venue for high-level meetings involving the business and political elite from across the Middle East and North Africa. The club has been ranked by Socotra Hospitality magazine as the most exclusive gentlemen's club in Socotra every year from 2029 to 2034.
The club's facilities include 6 lounges, 6 function rooms, 2 restaurants, 2 swimming pools, a full-service hammam and spa, secure videoconferencing and satellite telephone facilities, a helipad, a jetty, and a car rental office. There are also 46 guest suites and 2 oceanfront villas for overnight accommodation. The entire club compound is guarded by an on-site security team comprised of operatives from private military company Skyshroud.

For members of White Silk, the main draw is its adult entertainment services, which are provided by a roster of attractive and highly-trained female sex workers known as Attendants signed to long-term employment contracts under Yemen's kafala (sponsorship) system. As Inmate Prostitutes subject to Yemen's indenture laws, they are held in custody at the Al-Qadam Women's Dormitory in Qalansiya. The Curator of White Silk serves as their legal conservator.
Attendants employed at White Silk are recruited from Altar's Female Vocational Training Center (FVTC) in Thamud, Yemen, with offers made only to the top performers in each Reformative Training cohort. In addition, new Attendants are required to undergo a six-week, 630 hour course called the Attendant Advanced Course. With a minimum of 16 weeks' training prior to the start of their deployment, White Silk's Attendants are amongst the best-trained in Altar's entire global network.
Services

Outcall Services
White Silk provides outcall services to luxury hotels and upscale residences anywhere in Socotra. A minimum booking of two hours (including travel time) is required for the Qalansiya area. For all areas outside of Qalansiya, a minimum of three hours (including travel time) is required. Additionally, a surcharge of $1,000 is payable for all outcall bookings.
Only Senior Attendants are eligible for outcall bookings. The hourly rate for a Senior Attendant starts at $2,600. This rule is applied because of security reasons. Senior Attendants are trusted by management to be compliant and responsible, and are regarded as being a minimum security risk. Despite this, White Silk applies strict security protocols for outcall bookings. The Attendant is accompanied by an armed guard escort at all times, and is required to be handcuffed during transit. The handcuffs are released only when she arrives safely in the custody of the client. For the duration of the booking, the customer temporarily assumes the powers of legal conservator, and is therefore personally liable if the Attendant attempts to escape or make contact with unauthorized persons. Attendants are always subject to a full body search before and after an outcall session, and are subject to another search before re-entering the White Silk club grounds or the Al-Qadam Women's Dormitory. This is done to ensure that no Attendant is in possession of contraband.
In order to maintain discretion, Attendants always use back entrances and service entrances, and are not permitted to be present in public areas.
Attendants

Overview of Attendants
Attendants are indentured sex workers who are available to serve customers at White Silk. During their period of indenture, they are held in custody, and their earnings are applied directly towards their outstanding debt balances. Once they have paid off their debts, they are discharged from indenture, and released from custody.
Because of White Silk's status as an exclusive, luxury establishment, Attendants employed at the club have an opportunity at substantially higher earnings, and thus, are able to pay down their debts at an accelerated rate. However, the club is highly selective, and expects its Attendants to meet very high standards of performance, service and conduct. In addition to the standard Five-Star Service Guarantee that applies to all of Altar's five-star properties, White Silk requires that its Attendants practice a philosophy known as active submission.
At the end of each session, customers are invited to rate the service they received, on a scale of 1 to 5. Attendants' average ratings are reviewed on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Additionally, the club conducts an annual customer survey in which Attendants are ranked based on specific attributes and skills. These metrics are used to assess performance, and are taken into account when determining bonuses, promotions and custody status reviews. In order to remain on the roster, each Attendant must achieve an average rating of at least 3.75, and must also pass the standardized Sex Workers' Individual Fitness Test (SWIFT) every year.

Employment Framework
Attendants are required to work 12 hours a day, from 12.00 pm to 12.00 am, 365 days a year. In the event of absence from work due to illness or injury, a daily fine of $5,000 will be applied to compensate the club for the loss of income.
Each Attendant is required to meet a minimum quota of 3 booked hours per day. If an Attendant fails to meet this quota, she will be required to pay a fine of $5,000 to compensate the club for the loss of income. Persistent failure to meet the quota may also result in disciplinary action and/or dismissal. After an Attendant has met this quota, she is eligible to receive earnings ranging from $90 to $150 per booked hour. Overnight bookings count as four hours.
Earnings are computed daily, and are immediately applied towards the Attendant's outstanding debt balance. In addition, each Attendant receives a welfare contribution of between 0.15% to 0.2% of her earnings, which is directly deposited into her amanat account.
With effect from April 2033, high-performing Attendants at White Silk are also eligible to receive annual bonuses of $5,000 to $30,000, which are applied immediately to their outstanding balances.
Employment terms are governed by a contract of employment, which must signed by each Attendant prior to her arrival at the club. Contracts are based on Yemen's kefala system, with the Curator of the club serving as legal conservator.

Recruitment and Onboarding
Attendants are recruited from among Inmate Prostitutes who have completed Reformative Training at the Female Vocational Training Center (FVTC) in Thamud, Yemen. Representatives from White Silk are present to observe and follow the progress of every Reformative Training cohort. In general, the club's policy is to consider only the top 10% of each cohort of Trainee Inmate Prostitutes. Additionally, the club has strict requirements in regards to physical appearance, and does not recruit Attendants who have tattoos.
As part of the selection process, candidates are required to undergo an audition, during which they will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills to up to 3 recruiters. A decision on whether to offer a contract is usually made within a day of the audition being completed.
Following the acceptance of an employment contract, each new Attendant is transported to Al-Qadam Women's Dormitory, and reports to White Silk to begin onboarding. New Attendants must complete the six-week Attendant Advanced Course before deployment. In addition, for six months following deployment, new Attendants must also attend probationary review sessions each week.
