Joshua David Hawley (born 31 December 1979) is an American politician and former lawyer who is the 49th and current President of the United States. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 51st Vice President of the United States from 2029 to 2030 under President JD Vance, ascending to the presidency as a result of Vance's resignation from office on 18 June 2030. He previously represented Missouri as a United States Senator from 10 years, from 2019 to 2029.
