Carmen Inés Victoria Messina Villalba (born 3 March 2010) is an Argentinian-American business executive who has been serving since 1 October 2052 as a Partner at Kleinman Chang, the strategy consulting firm co-founded by former United States Secretary of the Treasury Conrad Chang. She has also been serving since 3 January 2047 as a non-executive director at Palatine Management, the single-family office of billionaire industrialist Julian Kao.

Messina is widely regarded to be a shrewd political and business operative who acts as a behind-the-scenes power broker and deal facilitator for an elite global clientele. Between 2052 to 2053, she acted on behalf of the United States Department of State in negotiating land and mineral rights concessions in Venezuela and Bolivia, and is believed to have played a key role in the 2051 Bolivia coup d'etat which led to the downfall of former dictator Luis Salvatierra.

For decades, Messina has had an intimate association with Kao, his family, and Minerva Holdings. She previously served as Chief of Staff of the Palatine Estate, the household management subsidiary of Palatine Management, for over 8 years between 2038 and 2046. During this time, she was instrumental in creating institutional structures to manage Kao's personal and lifestyle affairs, including the House of Juno, his private harem. As a result of Messina's leadership, the House of Juno grew to become one of the world's most elite harems, with an annual operating budget of $56 million supporting a permanent roster of 36 consorts drawn from a continuous pipeline of global applicants.

"If a woman seeks to get ahead by attaching herself to a successful man, that is her right. Men and women are inherently different. Each gender enjoys unique advantages. For women, our strength lies in our ability to support, nurture and serve the needs of the men who deserve it. Inevitably, that means a lot of weaker men are going to be jealous and hateful.

If, in the course of your life, you are able to weaponize your beauty and sex appeal, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It just means you're smart, and you're fully in touch with your femininity. We need to keep on speaking up until this is a universally-accepted truth."

Ellevate Annual Summit

17 May 2052

Messina is a strong supporter of fifth-wave feminism. Since 2050, she has been an active advocate and participant in various fora associated with women's empowerment. She believes that the proliferation of hypergamy through various legal reforms is integral to advancing social mobility for young women, and has donated and campaigned in support of the Household and Family Reform Act and the Sex Workers' Rights Act. Between 2050 to 2053, she served as informal advisor to the Merson Administration's Presidential Council on Women's Rights. In May 2052, she said in a public address at the Ellevate Annual Summit that all wealthy men should consider it their "social responsibility and civic duty" to establish private harems.

Although her positions have largely been embraced by large segments of the women's rights movement in the United States, Messina has been strongly criticized for having "regressive views" which "support patriarchy and take us back to the Middle Ages in terms of women's freedoms". In August 2053, she said on the Bling Ring podcast that "the only people who are really complaining are broke men and the weak women who enable their whiny bullshit". She went on to acknowledge that recent advancements in the law have resulted in the entrenchment of a "permanent underclass of poor white men", but argued that "this is their problem, not mine. They can work harder." Video clips of her responses were widely shared on social media, with strong endorsements by celebrities including Hannah Hazeldon, Denise Callas, Morgan Seward and Kira Lin.

Messina is a member of the Andromeda Society, a private organization comprised of women who identify as submissives, and who are required to take an oath pledging lifelong allegiance and fidelity to their Dominants and/or Patrons. She served two terms as President of the society from 2047 to 2051. In 2053, she stated in an interview with Vanity Fair that although she is no longer in the service of her former patron Julian Kao, it is simply her desire to "fully abstain from sexual or romantic interactions with any other man".
