HRH Sheikh Musa Mokhtar bin Kassem al-Ansari (Arabic: موسى مختار الأنصاري, born 18 August 1981) is a member of the Yemeni royal family and a younger brother of Emir Ayyub Fahad al-Ansari. Since 20 March 2025, he has held the royal title of Duke of Al-Jarrahi. Prior to the formation of the Emirate of Yemen, he served for 23 years as an infantry officer in the Republic of Yemen Army, attaining the rank of captain.
Sheikh Musa is known for leading an indulgent and excessive billionaire lifestyle. His wealth largely stems from his ownership of Al-Jarrahi Holding Corp., which has a monopoly over agricultural land rights, natural resources and utilities in the Al-Jarrahi District and much of the broader Al-Hudaydah Governorate. It was reported in 2034 that the company pays him a tax-free salary of $125 million a year, in addition to cash dividends of up to $200 million. He is also known to engage in corruption and graft in his business dealings with foreign investors, often receiving fees for influencing the policy decisions of his brother, the Emir, and his cabinet.
Unlike many other members of the al-Ansari family, Sheikh Musa has never been appointed to any central government positions since the formation of the Emirate. It is widely believed that he was deliberately granted a dukedom in a rural and isolated region of Yemen in order to ensure that he would not cause any distractions to the business of government in Sana'a. As of 2034, Al-Jarrahi District has a population of 138,342.
"Quite simply, Sheikh Musa is one of the most hated people in all of Yemen. He has developed a reputation for being indulgent, egotistical and cruel. These days, he keeps himself holed up in his personal fiefdom of Al-Jarrahi because it is clear that the Emir and his government don't want him involved in affairs of state.
While there are some segments of the population living off less than $2 per day, Sheikh Musa spends millions on his jets, yachts, cars and whores. He even has caviar and truffles flown in on a daily basis. It's unbelievable."

Sheikh Musa's official residence is the Palace of Tranquility (Arabic: قصر الهدوء, Qasr Al-Hudu), a 34.4 hectare complex built on the grounds of the former Al-Masahib Mosque. The Palace of Tranquility was originally built in 2025, and has undergone extensive renovations in order to accommodate an airstrip, a helipad, several gardens, an indoor swimming pool, a hammam, a nightclub, and an underground garage for 300 cars. His personal Al-Masahib Harem, with accommodations for 24 consorts and 120 jariyat, is also located on the palace grounds. It is rumored that there is an underground prison located beneath the palace, where Sheikh Musa's enemies are detained and sometimes tortured.
Like all royal princes in Yemen, Sheikh Musa is entitled to a protection detail provided by the government. However, he has invested heavily in hiring his own private security personnel. Between 150 to 200 fully-armed guards are garrisoned in barracks within the Palace of Tranquility at all times. Additionally, the Sheikh is protected by the Al-Jarrahi Principality Guard, which employs a further 500 men.
