Rayan Ibrahim "Ryan" Massoud (born 3 August 1997) is an Arab-American entrepreneur, brothelier and procurer. He is widely-regarded to be one of the most prominent figures in the adult entertainment industry globally. His company Akbar Holdings owns more than 100 adult entertainment establishments in the United States, including the Bunny's brothel chain, the Suriya chain of brothel-bathhouses, and the popular Verdant Springs hammam in Chicago. He is also a minority investor in the iconic Crescent Palace Hotel in Naxos Bay, Saudi Arabia.
Massoud built his initial fortune by taking advantage of the legalization of prostitution in Michigan in 2034. Formerly an operator of underground salon clubs in the Detroit area, he acted quickly to invest in 18 out of the 50 brothels listed in the first batch to be awarded licenses by the state Adult Entertainment Commission.
In 2036, Massoud reorganized 7 of his brothels into a new chain called Bunny's, with an emphasis on affordability, quality and friendly service. This resulted in a substantial increase in brand recognition for both Bunny's and Massoud personally. By December 2038, there were 21 brothels under the Bunny's brand, with a presence in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio and Georgia.
Massoud has always emphasized that the "bread and butter" of his business is the "economy" segment of the market. He has argued that as most industry operators continually seek to add more luxury and exclusivity to their offerings, there are still huge gaps in the market catering to working-class and lower-middle class Americans.
"Whether a man is rich or poor, he needs to get laid. This is just how nature works. In fact, I would think that poor men are even more likely to need paid sex, because they are less spoiled for choice when it comes to women.
Yet, every other industry player seems to only be interested in launching the newest ultra-luxe property catering to the super-rich. That's absolutely fine with me - I made my money focusing on those who aren't super-rich.

In January 2040, Massoud launched Suriya, a new bathhouse-brothel catering mainly to Arab-Muslim men based on the hammam concept. He announced that Suriya would be targeted at the "middle market", with prices starting at $700 for the standard package which includes admission, towel service, and 40 minutes of full service. He also stated that Suriya would offer different categories of girls, with the highest bracket costing up to $3,000 for an hour of sex. Suriya proved to a huge hit with the Arab-American and Persian-American population in Detroit, and Massoud opened new locations in Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Grand Rapids.
In 2043, Massoud was reported to be engaging in business dealings in the Middle East. In October, it was announced that he would become a minority shareholder in the famous Crescent Palace Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In 2045, Massoud was featured in the Forbes List of the 1,000 wealthiest people in America, with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion. He has been featured every year since.
Massoud's primary residence is the 32-acre Lakelands estate in Traverse City, Michigan. He has other homes in various cities in the US and the Middle East. His private harem, the House of Massoud, is located within Lakelands. His household includes four wives, 18 consorts (including 14 jariya), and 6 children.
