Safir Gentlemen's Club (Bahasa Indonesia: Klub Pria Safir; lit: Sapphire Gentlemen's Club) is a private gentlemen's club located in Mataram, West Lombok Regency, Indonesia. It is owned and operated by Sylvana Corporation. The club is one of the most exclusive adult entertainment venues in Lombok, and is a favorite meeting venue for members of the political and business elite from all over Indonesia and South East Asia.

The property is based in a secure private gated compound and has its own adjacent 200-car parking garage and accommodation annex for up to 150 staff, including security personnel. It has a floor area of over 132,000 square feet across four floors. Its facilities include a communal wet spa area, 3 VIP lounges, a restaurant, secure videoconferencing and satellite telephone facilities. There are also 68 guest rooms and 12 suites where guests may avail themselves of adult entertainment services. The entire club compound is guarded by an on-site security team comprised of operatives from private military company Skyshroud.

For members of Safir, the main draw is its adult entertainment services, provided by a roster of attractive and highly-trained female companions 24 hours a day. The roster includes freelance providers known as Valets, and indentured sex workers known as Hostesses. The club's main activity hub is the 20,000 sq ft Azura Lounge, which is based on a strip club concept, with live performances daily from 7.00 pm to 2.00 am. Guests are able to select a companion for private services discreetly from a smart tablet attached to every seat, or from hourly selection parades held round-the-clock (with a brief intermission from 7 am to 11 am).

Safir recruits its Hostesses from a pool of Inmate Prostitutes through international indenture brokers. They are held in custody at the Mataram Women's Dormitory pursuant to Lombok's kafala (sponsorship) system and associated indenture laws.

Admission to Safir is restricted to members and their guests only. Each member is allowed up to three guests per visit. There is a strict vetting process for new membership applicants, with a waiting list of up to three years. Successful applicants are required to pay a one-time initiation fee of $50,000, plus annual membership dues of $25,000.

Safir is widely regarded as one of the most luxurious gentlemen's clubs in Lombok, with rates starting at $1,000 for one hour of service with a Assistant Hostess. For the highest-grade Valets, overnight rates can go up to $10,000.

Overnight bookings start at 2.00 am and end at 10.00 am.

Service Hostesses are able to offer outcall services to locations within a 60-minute driving distance. For outcall services, driving time is charged at the hourly rate. The minimum booking is 2 hours.

All customers who book Hostess or Valet services receive complimentary use of a Guest Suite for the duration of their booking.

Work Hours and Schedules

Hostesses are split into two groups, Group X and Group Y, with their dormitory cell block assignments based on these groups.

All Hostesses are required to work 14 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Morning Shift runs from 11.00 am to 3.00 am, and the Night Shift runs from 7.00 pm to 11.00 am. During peak business hours of 7.00 pm to 3.00 am, both shifts are on duty simultaneously. The groups alternate between the Morning Shift and Night Shift on a monthly basis. Service Hostesses are permanently assigned to the Morning Shift. Only Service Hostesses may accept outcall and overnight bookings.

While at work, Hostesses are to remain in an orderly formation inside the Holding Room. They are sent out into the various lounges to mingle with customers and solicit business in groups of 10 to 12. While soliciting, Hostesses may be required to provide "teaser services" (thigh massage, lingam massage, or blowjobs), but are strictly prohibited from causing customers to climax.

Every hour, on the hour, all Hostesses are required to report for Selection Parades. If selected for service, they will proceed to the guest suites via a service staircase. If not selected, they will return to the Holding Room. Additionally, Hostesses are also rostered to perform on stage in the Azura Lounge based on the theme for the evening (striptease shows, lesbian shows, game shows, etc). Live performances run nightly from 7.00 pm to 2.00 am.

Attire and Presentation

Safir's policy requires that Hostesses display their breasts and pussies prominently at all times. As such, the standard work attire for Hostesses includes a combination of short miniskirts (often with slits), shawls, decorative body chains, and accessories.

According to the Inmate Prostitutes' Handbook published by Sylvana Corporation in 2033:

"As a prostitute, your breasts and your pussy are your most important physical features. Customers will identify you and possibly select you based on these features. As such, you must ensure that you proudly present them for everyone to see."

During special occasions, festivals or promotional events, Hostesses may be required to wear custom themed attire.

Hostesses are expected to abide by Sylvana's grooming standards at all times. The requirements include making sure that they are completely free of body hair. In particular, their legs, arms, underarms and pubic area are expected to be smooth, with no visible stubble, shaving scars or "baby hairs". Inspections are conducted frequently to ensure standards are upheld.

Earnings and Debt Repayment

Base Earnings

All Hostesses at Safir required to meet a daily quota of two booked hours. They are entitled to receive a revenue share (called "earnings") from the third booked hour.

Hostesses are required to honor Safir's Customer Service Guarantee. In the event that a Hostess fails to do so, she will be required to forfeit her earnings for the session, and may even be required to pay for a replacement session as compensation to the customer.

Debt Repayment and Interest on Balances

Earnings are computed on a daily basis, after the end of every work day. 100% of Hostess' earnings are immediately applied towards their outstanding debt balance. Once a Hostess has fully settled her debt balance, she is released from custody within 5 business days. If her account is in credit, the balance will be paid to her in cash.

In the event that a Hostess fails to meet the daily quota, she will accrue no earnings for the day, and a fine of $3,000 will be applied to her account to compensate the club for its loss of income.

A one-off management fee equivalent to of 60% of the opening balance is charged to every Hostess at the beginning of her employment at Safir. Every year, interest of 18% of the outstanding balance (capped at $80,000) is billed to her account. In addition, an annual health insurance contribution of $12,000 is charged every calendar year to cover healthcare costs.

Personal Welfare (Amanat) Accounts

All Hostesses at Safir are eligible to receive an additional daily credit into their personal Amanat accounts, amounting to an additional 0.25% of their earnings for the day, subject to a maximum daily cap. As of December 2034, the daily cap starts at $0.78, and increases to $1.13 for Senior Attendants. The funds credited into personal welfare accounts are provided as a welfare measure, and are not deducted from their daily earnings. They are available for discretionary spending at the commissary, and may not be applied towards any outstanding debt balances.

Regulations

Sexual Access and Sexual Service Requirements

As Inmate Prostitutes, Hostesses do not have the right of consent to any sexual activity. Every Hostess is required to abide by the sexual access requirement, i.e. to facilitate sexual access to any person who demands it, as long as it is authorized by her legal conservator, and the sexual service requirement, i.e. to provide sexual service in obedience to any request or instruction from any person authorized by her legal conservator. In addition, a Hostess must also comply with requests for sexual service immediately and to the best of her ability, failing which she may be charged with the offenses of malingering or insubordination.

In practice, this means that Hostesses must provide sexual services to members of staff at Safir whenever requested. Staff members are not permitted to interfere with Hostesses' work duties, and as such, they may not avail themselves while a Hostess is working, soliciting, performing, or preparing herself for a customer. However, Hostesses spend large amounts of time idling in the Holding Rooms while waiting for a booking or a selection parade. During this time, they must make themselves available to staff members.

While it is not a strict requirement, Hostesses at Safir are expected to proactively offer themselves to staff members whenever they are free, or whenever a staff member is in need of sexual relief. Notwithstanding any requirements to service staff members, every Hostess has a personal responsibility to ensure that she is cleaned up and prepared prior to the next selection parade.

Orgasm Discipline

Hostesses are prohibited from having orgasms under any circumstances, including while servicing customers and staff. All Hostesses undergo orgasm discipline training prior to starting work, and are expected to exercise personal responsibility in preventing themselves from having orgasms. The penalties for unauthorized orgasms are severe, ranging from lengthy sentences of Loss of Privileges to substantial fines which have the effect of lengthening their time in indentured custody.

The primary purpose of this rule is to ensure that Hostesses are fully focused on providing pleasure to customers. Additionally, by keeping them sexually frustrated at all times, Safir makes certain that Hostesses will provide more enthusiastic service.

Staff members at Safir often test Hostesses' resolve and self-control by instructing them to masturbate themselves to the edge of orgasm. In some cases, they may also permit a Hostess to masturbate as a reward for good behavior.

Hostesses are required to wear anal plugs at all times during work hours. They may not remove their own plugs for any reason whatsoever.
